Fantastic food, clean environment, great ambiance, and quick & excellent service- even close to closing! I just found out about this place and while it’s a little outside the heart of downtown silver spring, it’s at a nice, quiet location and the dining experience really was excellent. Great for a date or delicious Asian cuisine. Will definitely be returning! :)
We got there really late but they were able to take us in. Foods were great. I love their sushi roll more than noodles
Delicious high quality food. Price is fair (and even on the low side) for the quality of the dishes. Everything we ordered was impressively tasty. Ingredients tasted and looked fresh. Presentations of the dishes was perfect. We tried a series of dishes since this was our first time. Would come again for sure, bit will not order as much food anymore, the quantity of food in every dish was overwhelming.
First time visiting. We loved it. Friendly personal, great sushi. Definitely will be coming back.
If you haven’t try this place yet I suggest to do it ASAP! The Food is great, very attentive, kind and friendly staff. The sushi combo’s and chef specials are some of my favorite dishes to enjoy. Sapporo and hot sake is a must do combo!
Been coming to this restaurant for 3 solid years. My favorite dishes are carpaccio, their sushi combos that come with variety of fish, and Asahi roll! Their kitchen food is really good too for non-sushi eaters. My husband gets yakiudon, bibimbap, tempura appetizer and he says he can eat ikko every day if he could! Their fish is fresh and very good portioned. If you need extra ginger, extra wasabi or extra soy sauce, mention it on your take out order! They will provide generous amount! Parking is available about a block away, there is a public parking place or street parking is available too.
I picked up this restaurant to celebrate my wife's birthday, for the photos looked delicious; and we weren't disappointed. From the food to the hospitality to the vibe and cleanness of the place, everything was just perfect. The sushi is one of the best in the town, and the prices are very reasonable. The specialty rolls are so yummy and creative ( just try Lobester Sensation), and they have this great option of deep frying any roll for you if it's your thing. You can't go wrong with Ikko Sushi!
This place is a true gem in downtown Silver Spring. Yes, some rolls are pricier than most other sushi places, but the quality of the rolls make it worth the price. Their ramen was also really amazing. Ikko overall had a cozy atmosphere and the service was great — everyone was extremely friendly.
